Nicholas Turns 1 Week Old
Somehow a week has flown by since the morning Jenn and I drove to the hospital for the birth of our son, Nicholas Derek Wenzel. Of course we fell in love with him even before he was born, but now that he's here we love him even more.
For his 1 week birthday, he smiled for the first time. It was an accidental smile and he was sleeping at the time, but I'll take it.
My wish for myself a week after the greatest day of my life, is that I am just as amazed by his smile in the years to come as I am today.
Thanks Nicholas! It's been an action packed week and we can't wait to see what the next week will bring.
